 Ohio District GBB had its Spring Outpost on April 27, 28, and 29 at Pleasant Hill Lake Park in Ashland County.  The Outpost was hosted by Rittman Unit 65.  105 boys and 36 men participated.  Units in attendance were Unit 4 Eastside, Unit 11 Fremont, Unit 20 Trinity, Unit 60 Ashland, Unit 65 Rittman, Unit 135 Norton, Unit 152 Millersburg, and Unit 165 Homerville.  The Council Fire and Sunday Service were blessed to have a challenging message from Mike Prentovich.

The Honor Unit award for 2007 went to Millersburg Unit 152.

Activities that weekend included the a unit competition in the areas of spiritual and physical fitness, and a good hike that included a visit to a waterfall.  The weather started out rainy and cold Friday night, but warmed up and was sunny after Saturday afternoon.

The District Leadership met during the outpost and selected new officers.  Dan Hazlett of Unit 165 was elected President, and Dwayne Peters of Unit 65 was elected Vice President.
